Overview

Recruiter

The incumbent will be responsible to manage our full recruitment cycle, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates. The role includes sourcing candidates online, updating job adverts and conducting background checks, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

This position is on a Definite Contract for 6 months, subject to possible extension.

Main Tasks

  • To promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization
  • To ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms);
  • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates;
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms;
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers;
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person);
  • Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally;
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers;
  • Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits;
  • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events;
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs;
  • Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard;
  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including preparing reports and maintaining documentation.
  • Any other tasks commensurate to the role.

Position Key Requirements and Competencies

  • Have proven work experience as a Recruiter or similar role;
  • Have experience with sourcing techniques;
  • Possess solid verbal and written communication skills;
  • Have a sound judgement
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
