This position reports to the Safety and Compliance Manager, whilst working closely within the Company’s Safety & Compliance Monitoring team. He/she will act as the responsible Organization Document Controller for easyJet Engineering Malta. He/ she will also perform safety audits and spot checks in the assigned hangar/area and follow up on safety occurrences as required.

Main Tasks

• To promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Compliance Monitoring Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization.
• Acts as responsible Organization Document Control administrator for the Company. Ensures all processes, procedures manuals and company expositions are maintained compliant and up to date with EASA part 145 and TM CAD regulations.
• Maintains the capability list for component ratings.
• Maintains the Subcontractor and Contractor lists.
• Leads and/or supports the process of monitoring certifying staff licenses, checks documentation for completeness, issues and controls the company authorizations and stamps.
• Performs internal safety daily spot-checks / audits as required, follows investigations to root cause level and provides the necessary feedback.
• Reviews and processes safety reports.
• Executes any other task commensurate with the role.

Position Key Accountabilities

• Safety: Contributes to ensure that all elements of the SMS are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in the SMS manual.
• Quality: Contributes to promote a positive quality culture and to ensure that the Safety and Compliance Monitoring Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization.
• Delivery: Ensures that Expositions, procedures, and processes are maintained up to date, current and effective.
• Cost: Challenge and follow issues on Safety Root Cause analyses and preventive actions to aim effectiveness.
• People: Monitor the performance of the Safety and compliance monitoring management system and ensure alignment with the related stakeholders.
• 6S: Ensure that all 6S Standards are adhered with at all times in his/her assigned areas.

Position Key Requirements and Competencies

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an approved EASA part 145 MRO.

• In-depth knowledge of EASA and TM CAD regulations including Part 145, Part M/CAMO.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in the use of computer systems and willing to learn to use digital processes and company used software.

• Professional proficiency in the English language.
